The Kaduna State Government and the World Bank with the support of the Rockefeller Foundation, have put together a three-day E-lance Training Workshop, “Click-On Kaduna in Partnership with Digital Naija” to create opportunities for the Nigerian graduate.
This is done to tackle the issue of youth unemployment in Nigeria. The issue of unemployment in Nigeria has made most Nigerian skilled youths idle. However this initiative from the Kaduna state governor proposes to have graduates from across the country put their skills and knowledge to work and earn something from any part of the country.
The workshop will hold from the 10thto 12th of July 2018 at the Kaduna State University ICT centre. This is set to place Kaduna state at the forefront of a Virtual Economy Revolution in Nigeria. These three days is the flagship stage of the project and will be centred on skill-specific workshops. The speakers during the workshop would be successful Nigerian Freelancers that will provide the necessary tools needed to engage Nigerian youths with online jobs.
